The quadrangle courtyard at Samsen Anuban School
The toastmasters. I used to buy toast in the mornings and eat it in the office when I was running late. These beaming folks know what good service is and the smiles come with or without a camera.
We Love Bus 38. This one was caught being outside the Soi 22 "street mouth".
Ying, Bam and Ting (the co-manager of Srinuan Court and her daughter) at Benjasiri Park, Sukumvit Road. Benjasiri park is one of the extremely few green spots in Bangkok. It's right behind Srinuan Court and it was a relaxing place to spend time with Ying on a Sunday afternoon.
Nui at Jatujak Park, by the weekend market.
The view from Room 503, Srinuan Court. Two adjoining neighbours are the Imperial Queens Park Hotel, Bangkok's biggest and where Prince Andrew and Kofi Anan visited last year, and low-standard housing for workers from upcountry such as motorcycle taxi drivers.
Khoa San Road during Songkran. Songkran is the 3 day Thai new year, and it's characterised by blessing of the water, which translates to an insand country-wide water fight. There's a Ben in the photo with a mostly hidden Steve.
A water truck brought in to replenish supplies.
Ying and Ben at Khao San Road for Songkran.

Some funky teachers at Samsen.
Would you trust this man to teach your child? Sabai sabai at the Samsen sports day.
